Jeff Novak is the former owner of Lather Salon Aspen. Jeff has extensive training under some of the best American, British, and French hairdressers. Combine that with over 40 years experience behind the chair, and you have a true Master Stylist. With an A-list clientele, he provides top quality services, with the finest expertise in color and cuts!

Chris has over four decades of experience working with an international clientele on four continents. Trained in Europe and Los Angeles, he specializes in color and cut for men and women. Chris has been with Salon Tullio since 1994 and enjoys meeting people from all over the globe!

Originally from Czechoslovakia, Romana Ashcroft has over 35 years in the hair industry. With global experience and an international clientele across Eastern Europe and Aspen, Romana has gained expertise in event styling, tape in extensions, as well as precision cuts and color. Over the years Romana has worked on countless high-end photo shoots, wedding looks, and fashion shows, including styling for the Prada Fashion show and Miss Czech Republic winner in 2010. In 2001, she found herself in Aspen working seasonally for the highly regarded, Lather Salon and joined our team at Salon Tullio in 2021.

Born in Aspen, Colorado. McKenna always had a passion for the beauty industry. After graduating from Toni & Guy Academy in Los Angeles in 2015, McKenna has worked at some of the most elite salons in Los Angeles like Ramirez Tran salon, Mare, Loft 647 & Alen M Los Angeles, training with some of the best in the business. She intertwines her knowledge of coloring, extensions, brazilian blowouts, and styling to create a masterpiece that is unique to each individual. When it comes to who best creates the “perfect Malibu blonde” look no further. Over the years, she has been fortunate enough to have styled hair for some A-list celebrities such as Camille Kostek, Tracy Tutor from “Million Dollar Listing”, Charly Jordan, Ashley Sky, Lil Debbie and more.

Senior stylist, Audra Straksys, joined The Miami Beach EDITION in 2015. A master of her craft and Miami Magazine’s No. 1 Men’s Stylist, Audra excels in the artistry and latest techniques of hair trends throughout the fashion scene. Her styles have been showcased during New York Fashion Week, included in Nigel Barker’s fashion show, InTheNow, and appeared in music videos of Hype Williams. Audra’s bold, alluring use of style and color has captivated participants at launches of new product lines for top brands, such as TRESemmé, Nexxus, Toni&Guy, Motions, Suave and Dove.

She began as a color expert in metro-Detroit in 2001, graced Los Angeles with her coloring and styling expertise in 2008, and has been delighting clients in Miami since 2010. Now, Aspen gets to host the genuine experience Audra brings, as she’s sure to please every unique, cosmopolitan style that sits in her chair.

Skylae is a blonding and color specialist from California and now here in Aspen at Salon Tullio.
She has trained with some of the top in San Diego + Los Angeles for Modern Blonding, Balayage, and Lived-In Color techniques.
Studied in San Francisco with Vidal Sasson for cuts, dry cutting, curly cuts, and shags. Along with New York, at Bumble&Bumble academy for Hair Styling.
She specializes in working with the following color lines; Loreal, Redken, Wella, Davines and Alfaparf Milano.
As well as offers extension expertise with Bellami, European Luxury Hair Extensions, and Laced Weft Hair Extensions

Christina has enjoyed working in Aspen as a respectable hair professional for over 20 years. She has surrounded herself with a diverse clientele and a talented team of stylists to elevate her hair cutting and styling experience. Christina specializes in a variety of cut, color, highlighting, and styling techniques, while focusing on maintaining excellent hair quality and a memorable client experience. Her bright smile and warm demeanor is sure to make anyone that sits in her chair feel comfortable while confident!

Originally from Lima Peru, Claudia is an artist who wears many hats!

A well studied stylist of 6 years Claudia is always expanding her knowledge and refining her techniques. She is a expert at balayage & foliyage color techniques. Certified in Bellami Weft, tape in, and clip in hair extensions, and is also our most detail oriented nail technician and facial waxing expert. Born and raised in the Chicago area, Nan has been in the hair and beauty business for over 35 years. She studied under the training of Toni & Guy for 14 years and has been working and we have been honored to have her as a part of our team for many years!

Originally trained at Regency Beauty Institute in Minnesota, Megan has attended a variety of cutting-edge color training and creative knowledge classes conducted by several respected industry leaders.  During her 10+ years of experience, Megan has learned to master the art of balayage and color correction while maintaining crucial integrity of the hair.  She also specializes in men's grooming and detail. Megan is an accomplished professional whose artistic ability is matched only by her dedication to each client.

Kale became well known for his work in Seattle’s “Top Barbershop” (Seattle Weekly - 2016/17), his mastery in barbering and clipper cutting cannot overshadow his innate perspective on all aspects of designing haircuts. Kale’s avant-garde work has been featured in some of Seattle’s top Salons, runway shows and editorial features. Kale joined the Salon Tullio team in 2021. He digs deep into the unique hair-shaping needs of each client on an individual basis, and always considers which method of cutting will work for their specific hair type first. He often utilizes many different cutting techniques on each client in order to fully realize their optimal design.

Melissa is a Colorado Native who grew up in the Vail Valley. Hair and Skin Care have always been a passion for her.  She received her esthetics and hair license in 2004 and worked at a salon in Vail for three years before moving to our Basalt salon in 2007. She specializes in cutting and coloring, spray tanning and waxing!  You can visit her at our Basalt location Tuesday - Friday.
